I have recently joined a company in Abu Dhabi and working as an archive clerk whereas by my degree I am an Accountant (obtained from an Australian University). I am currently under probation period and I would like to leave the firm. Will labour ban be imposed on me if I leave the company within the probation period.? Other then that if I am able to attain an NOC by my current employer will the labour ban still be imposed on me.? have read an article which states that a qualified accountant or an auditor is exempted from the ban. Will this hold true in my case as I have an honours degree in accounts attested by UAE embassy. Moreover could you please advise me how much sum do we need to pay in order to lift the ban if I plan to leave the company within 1 year?
Please advise
Kind Regards

1. If you have worked with the company for 2 years
2. If you have ended the relationship with the company in a friendly way.
Now if you have not been with the company for 2 years, there are 3 situations in which you have the right get a work permit .
1. If the new job falls under the 1st, 2nd or 3rd category of professions (as defined by DNRD) with a salary of not less than 12,000 AED , 7,000 AED and 5,000 AED for the three classes respectively.
2. The contract is terminated because of the employer’s violation of legal and labor obligations towards you, or if you have no role in terminating the work relationship.
3. If you have been transferred to another company the employer owns or you have shares in.
But if you are on a limited contract and if you did not finish the agreed term as per contract, the company has the right to impose a one-year ban which cannot be lifted at all.
Hope it helps!!

From 01 Jan 2012, transfer without a ban or NOC is possible,<br

First you need to check your third party insurance to see if is extended to cover fire and theft. If is extended, and if your vehicle has damages caused by fire, you are entitled to protection under the third party fire and theft insurance cover.

Hi Junaid,<br
